The incidence type continue to evolve adoption new safety measures, technology advancements, education general population. goal this article is provide reader thorough understanding management soft trauma including initial workup, physical examination, appropriateness antimicrobial therapy, setting surgical repair. Additionally, anesthetic repair regard local anesthesia, sedation, anesthesia described detail. There focus on dog bites, perinatal injuries, child abuse as these entities distinctive population have particular recommendations.
